President trump's former White House physician won the Republican nomination for U. S. house seat in Texas on Tuesday Ronny Jackson a retired navy rear admiral defeated agriculture advocate Josh one garner in the primary runoff for the thirteenth congressional district in Texas he'll face Democrat Gus Trujillo in November's general election trump and once picked Jackson to head the department of Veterans Affairs but that was derailed by allegations of drinking on the job and over prescribing drugs things he denied trumpeted Jackson impressed him when the doctor gave a glowing report of the president's physical health and cognitive well being following questions about trump's mental fitness for office I'm Julie Walker
