Boeing Starliner launches, a key step toward astronaut flights


NASA and Boeing are hoping that the planned test flight of the starliner crew capsule will answer a lot of questions in order for astronaut still fly it next year there are no human astronauts aboard the star liner but it is carrying a dummy astronaut name Rosie wired to the hill to measure the stresses that a human might feel during launch flight and landing or measuring loads moments on the crew incredibly important for us Boeing is John Mulholland says a similar dummy was aboard another capsule which recently tested the abort rockets and parachutes for landing and we're actually ten times below requirement levels for that similar performance this time could be in humans on the next flight early next
