"State university's president says it's clear there was consistent institutional failure after seeing a report that detailed nearly two decades of sexual abuse by a former athletic team doctor. Correspondent Ryan burrow has more report released by Ohio State University claims school personnel were aware of complaints against Dr Richard Strauss from nineteen seventy nine through nineteen Ninety-seven, but failed to investigate or act. Meaningfully victims included athletes from at least sixteen different sports. Strauss was allowed to voluntarily retire in one thousand nine hundred ninety eight with America's status, he committed suicide in two thousand. Five dozens of victims of filed two lawsuits against the school. The school's president releasing a statement, offering apologies and profound regret to those who endured abuse, many students told investigators they thought the doctors behavior was an open secret within the athletic department"
