Listen: Sixers, Nets And Jimmy Butler discussed on Jalen and Jacoby
"On his run along. We watched a lot of NBA this weekend. And some of the games didn't go the way I expected them to especially the top of the Eastern Conference. We start in Philadelphia where the Sixers didn't like lose to the nets. They really lost the nets and aside from Jimmy Butler no-one really played. Well, what do you think about this poor performance in game one from Philadelphia? We got to figure out what the situation is. Right. Because now looks like he's hurt. They took him out of it. First half early. We've. You know, he had this new thing that's been lingering the mentioned going back to the all star break. But it is weird Jacoby because I went through it, Mark. She was thirty fifteen in three and a half, assists and blocks April fourth week ago. He went for thirty four thirteen thirteen and three blocks against Milwaukee. So he's really hurt that he can't contribute to the team than what were these numbers? So I still don't know what that is. And I think the other problem is that bad Ben Simmons shows up and a guy that we thought was heading towards being a top ten player just a year ago because of the size the combo his vision, and all of these things were like man, the best version of this kid's going to be incredible. We're now it feels like there's zero improvement, and he was invisible game on at home against a plucky will coach, you know. Okay. Nets team. But that nets team talent wise, even without Embiid shouldn't be beating a Philadelphia team in their place. So this is a lingering doubtful thing that's been going on with the Sixers now where you're like, I know all the names. I know what you're supposed to be. I know the best version of you. You. But I don't really have anything to go off of playoff wise. And that's why this is kind of freak out game of the eight this weekend. It is you look at Jimmy Butler who just carried them and then Tobias Harrison have great game. And Ben Simmons had a bad game. And Embiid was kinda hobbled Rettig. He he can't be kinda streaky. He didn't play. Well, I personally the opinion that this is sort of like, a bad luck winter dental thing and that the Sixers will kind of continue to win this series, and they will win tonight. How important you think this game is tonight for the Sixers huge because this is not a group. That's had any collective success that team should not have lost in five games to that banged up. Boston team, whatever whatever ended up happening where it's like. Well, what are you talking about? Look at other top five picks. Look at look at you like, oh, man. They're missing they're supposed to best players and the Celtics worked, and I know it was kind of a late game thing. But that's another common theme for the Sixers lake game execution offensively. It's not exactly what you wanted to be. So if this team goes. Down to Brooklyn."
