$731 million Powerball jackpot has one winning ticket, in Maryland


Morning that the winning mega power ball ticket was sold at Coney Market in Lana Koning, Maryland, which is in the western part of the state. There was only one ticket that matched all six numbers in the $731 million Powerball jackpot. Maryland Lottery says the single ticket wins the fourth largest jackpot in Powerball history. It was sold in Allegheny County in northwestern Maryland. It's not clear yet who the winner is, and it may never be known. Maryland's one of about a half dozen states were a Powerball winner can remain anonymous.
