Listen: Justin Ross, Trevor And Dabo Swinney discussed on Dana Loesch
"For the second game due to his suspension. Right. These kids all came back this year three of them decided not to go and test their waters in the NFL draft to come back and play together. They said that they made that decision individually and yet that unit and that brotherhood Clemson coach, Dabo Swinney. Says it best they love each other. They play with a joy and an abandoned that I just haven't seen a defensive line play within college football. The more importantly they are productive. So even without Dexter Lawrence. They have forty five tackles for loss in twenty five sacks this season. These guys get after the quarterback. They can put pressure on the quarterback with just four and the guys who are backing up and replacing texture Lawrence Albert Huggins. He's got three point five tackles for last two and a half sacks Niles pink. And he's got tackles for loss enjoyed the Williams. They kind of rotate three guys into that position now projects, and they were all very productive and not a lot of drop there. But really look for the love and the joy that east is play with their part of that twenty six person senior class, and I think it's going to be special to watch them play together. One last time excuse me as senior class in Venables gets it all done for them. Holly. And I'll I'll speak about bread Venables with Trevor just a bit. But one final thought from you just injury update we talked with the Fitzsimmons about five ten minutes ago. Obviously, they have a big injury other defensive side. What are you hearing complaints in pretty good shape to injuries that happened late in the Cotton Bowl to their top receivers? So t Higgins has been a little bit hobbled with an ankle. She looked good at practice two days ago. But I did see him tweet get on a catch in the end zone at the end of practice. So that's just something to keep your eye on if he was able to turn that early that could be an issue and then Justin Ross who set a Cotton Bowl record with one hundred twenty receiving yards in the first half in that game. He missed most of the fourth quarter with a knee and ankle issue. He told me that he is fine. He looked good at practice. But those are the two speed burners for Clemson and the and the wide receivers. And so they have got to hold up and not tweak those injuries as the game progresses, and oh, yeah. I can't believe we've done this whole pre-game show. None of us have talked about hunter Renfro that.."
