Church holds indoor services amid pandemic, defying court order


A judge has ordered a church not to hold indoor worship services in defiance of Corona virus related emergency closure orders. Pastor Rob McCoy has been holding services at Godspeed, Calvary Chapel in Newbury Park, with as many as 200 worshippers hugging, singing and not wearing masks. Friday, A Superior Court judge issued a temporary restraining order at the request of Victoria County's health officer. The law firm that represents the church, says God speak Calvary Chapel plans to counter sue both the county and the state. Another hearing is scheduled for August
