Majority says winner of presidential election should nominate next Supreme Court justice


Trump will formally nominate conservative Appeals Court Judge Amy Cockney Barry to the U. S. Supreme Court today. Meantime, a new ABC News Washington Post poll on whether President Trump should nominate the justice right now at all, confirm now or wait for the results of the election. Republicans indicating they want a new Supreme Court justice seated as soon as possible. But a new ABC NEWS Washington Post poll showing by nearly 20% margin Americans say replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the high court should be left to the winner of the presidential election. 57% Wanna wait 38% say fill the seat now. But Americans who were pulled also not keen on the idea of Democrats, adding another justice to the court.
