Heat warnings in effect for Los Angeles area


Temperatures are a little bit cooler in some places today, but excessive heat warnings remain in effect through nine PM Wednesday in the Antelope, Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley. Even a Southern California suffers through a sometimes record breaking heat wave. Weather forecasters are predicting heavy and slow moving thunderstorms.
