Court approves $800M settlement for MGM Resorts, Vegas shooting victims


Casino company MGM Resorts International and its insurers paying a total of $800 million to some 4400 relatives and victims off the Las Vegas Strip shooting about a judge approved the deal Wednesday, a day before the third anniversary of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U. S history. Local attorney Robert Englund represents many of the victims. You have the death cases, of course. The loved ones of the people who were killed and then you, but you also have some people who were significantly injured, who have lifelong permanent damages. They can't work anymore.
