The Mason Minute

The NASA minute. With Kevin mason. People always seem to talk about which of their seasons is the favorite. I've always admitted I don't like winter. I don't like the cold. I don't like the snow. Some people like the fall, but my allergies don't treat me that well so much then. For me, summer probably my favorite season, but there's something I realized about spring the other day that I just truly don't like. And it's one sound. The sound of a lawn mower. Now here in Nashville, our lawn mower season is a long one. We started mowing our lawn back in March, and we'll probably go through maybe even Thanksgiving depending upon the weather. So we're mowing lawns all the time. But right about the 1st of April, the lawn mowers in the neighborhood kick in. And of course, we do ours on the weekend when we've got the time, but some of the folks who live lawn mower services will always happen during the week. And usually early in the morning. And I realized how much I hate that sound of the lawn mower, because it's just a constant drone as you're trying to do your work. And of course, everybody gets their lawns mode on different days, so it's like almost once or twice a day, somewhere in the neighborhood. You hear that little buzzing of a lawn mower for about a good half hour. I know I'm complaining.
