Listen: Chris Nolan, Amax Theater And Allison discussed on DLC
"And so I have no none of that shared fund nece or going awhile. Yeah. This is crappy. But man, it was close. It got close to the arcade. Now I wanted. I wanted the arcade. I wanted the arcade. I wanted I I was disappointed when things were Janke indifferent. Didn't look as good as what I remember punky my quarters into so glad where to place now, you know, and the the more recent version of that is not still a long time ago, but less long ago than what we're talking about. Which is you know, what's better the? Xbox port or the PlayStation port with better. The, you know, which one is, and I we're even just left that in the past right? It's all of these engines now unreal and unity in all of these engines that are just basically running the exact same code on both systems. And the only thing that does anything any different or the first party games that are built in Allison, you know, us weird aspects of the hardware from the some of it or it's like digital foundry whom I love they'll do like, oh, the Xbox One version of red dead. They'll do it on like Xbox One. Xbox PlayStation, four PlayStation for pro. And it's like the frame rate of whatever marginal it, so so insignificant compared to how it used to be where you would, you know, it'd be huge a different team would have done, you know, each port because it takes so much work to figure out a, you know, the specifics of a specific hardware skew it just left in the dust. And I I'm happy about that. I mean, I still like playing the. Version because I can crank the settings up beyond even what the XBox excellent or something like that. But for the most part, we've just sorta left a lot of that in the past and I'm fine with it. Yeah. I mean, I you kind of like briefly wanted to when he talked about like getting into the cinema in like getting the best seat like for me. I kinda liked the fact that when I go to the movies, it's going to be different though, when I'm watching at home is kind of the whole like, I know it's going to be better, they are than when I watched the in my house 'cause at can't afford that they, you know, the big monitors the the sound system. I have a normal television. Like we had back in the day. It's just a. It's nothing fancy about it. It's just they're doing its job. And you know yet. It's it's it feels cool like it makes it an experienced actually go and experience it in the cinema. Whilst you know whenever have watched. I watched the latest Chris Nolan movie on my TV will cycle done car. Those that like jerk is. Yes. Oh, no. That makes me so sad. Dunkirk needs to be watched in Amax theater. You know, what I'll watch sounds like what is the hype? This is just fine. Like, I don't under-. Exactly. Plight experience of it where I was like you've made my point for me. That's my this is my point. And I I understand what Christian means though. Because it's yeah. I understand the whole wanting to kind of go back in how it was back. Then like, I'm not a person who values quality over. Just like what what the game is or a movie as what whatever it is. Like, yeah. I can I can play like I've had joyful experiences on my GameBoy with you know, or just looks terrible. And some of those games. I keep thinking I don't want to change. I like this the way it is. I don't know if I would like it as much this fear. Yeah. And so, but I do think. Yeah. I mean, we are in the age where everything has to be the best look the best. And even though the lies between what kind of like hardware, for example, provide the best. There is still this. You know? Driving force to make everything as good as possible. And you know, maybe I don't know. It's it's a weird one. I wish I I wish I grew Mexican arcade. The final point. I would also just like to point.."
