House passes Democratic pandemic relief measure


The U. S House of representatives that's passed a $2.2 trillion Democratic Corona virus relief bill largely along party lines. NPR's Windsor Johnston reports that White House and GOP concerns Are likely to doom the measure in the Senate. The latest Democratic measure includes new funding for schools, small businesses, restaurants, airline workers and an extension of extra weekly unemployment benefits.
