CNN Releases Statement Over New Revelations About Chris Cuomo
New documents released this week indicated that Chris was more into millions involved than previously known in helping his brother former New York governor Andrew Cuomo craft a defense amid a flurry of sexual misconduct allegations. Here's a statement released tonight from a scene on spokesperson quote the New York attorney general's office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo's involvement in his brother's defense. The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raised serious questions. This spokesperson continued quote when Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother's staff. He broke our rules. And we acknowledge that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second. However, these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother's efforts than we previously knew the spokesperson added, as a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely pending further evaluation. And I can not confirm or deny that Jeffrey toobin then yelled out, but Dodge that bullet. Here I am. I mean, you got to look it up. I don't want to get into the graphic nature of Jeffrey toobin's transgression. Look it up. How that guy has a job is unbelievable. They suspended Jeffrey toobin too. And I say that for a reason. Chris Cuomo's probably looking at Jeffrey toobin saying, wait a minute. You kept this guy? But you're firing me or suspending me because I was trying to defend my brother?
