Justice Department is expected to bring an antitrust lawsuit against Google in the coming weeks, focusing on Google's dominance in the online search field. A source tells The Associated Press. Antitrust officials are preparing to allege Google used its dominance to stifle competition and hurt consumers. And it may be using improper online advertising practices, a charge made by some lawmakers and consumer advocates. Google has said even though its businesses are large, they're beneficial to consumers for more than a year of the Justice Department and the Federal Trade Commission have been investigating big tech companies. Looking at whether Google, Facebook, Amazon and Apple have hurt competition, stifled innovation or otherwise harmed consumers.
