Governor Andy this year has declared a new requirement making masks mandatory. Newly reported cases of covert 19 have increased their in recent days. This is NPR news in Washington. Things are looking up in state of New York, where certain nursing homes may allow visitors with restrictions starting next week. It's part of New York's moved to ease a ban aimed at limiting the spread of the Corona virus among vulnerable elderly residents.
