Publix sued over deli worker's coronavirus-related death


70 year old public's deli worker who died from Cove It are now suing the supermarket chain. They're returning, telling NBC six that early in the pandemic Public's had a policy that prevented their employees from wearing gloves and masks. What public's did prohibiting employees from wearing masks they knew. It was inevitably going to result in someone like Gerardo Gutierrez 70 years old, working behind a crowded deli counter to get sick with covert 19 and ultimately die. Gutierrez died back in April.
