Seattle officials propose new outreach team to help unsheltered people


Seattle City Council member Andrew Lewis is proposing a new approach to homeless camp outreach called the Unsheltered Outreach in Response team. This new team that would be an HST is focused on building on an empowering That tradition of centering outreach and community providers. First proposal would spend $1.8 million for a third party outreach. Another $245,000 would support an eight member team with the city's Human services Department.
