Listen: John Mark, Gianni Versace And Gillian Flynn discussed on WGN Nightside
"I wanted that to sweep it seeing the Gianni Versace achieve show. So I probably should see that eventually, but sharp objects was a masterpiece that John Mark valet. Also did a big little lies. I don't know what he does with a subliminal editing. But it's like what when I read the Gillian Flynn book after watching sharp objects like this is like the book where it just like cut to this flashback. And you're all of a sudden you're in this part of her youth, and it just it was so seamless. I just thought it was brilliantly structured the whole show. I have to say yes, sharp objects. I mean, Amy Adams. Blew me away. I had read the book years ago. I it was like a trade a book situation. Yeah. I was just on a shelf this new author before she'd Ritz debut novel was and I thought it would make an interesting movie. But I thought I mean, it's just so dark, but to make it a limited series. I was floored by that. Yes. I mean the elements of it. It was you could feel the heat in the stickiness of Missouri, the whole thing and that building tension and for big little lies when that ended. I mean, it was it was like watching the six cents for the first time. It was just like full on body chills. Like, I did not see that coming lightning can strike twice. And the way sharp objects ends it's even better than the novel the way it is John dropping because when I when I read the book, I was like all this. I mean, I read the book, and I almost I didn't want to recommend it to people because of how kind of dirty it made me feel kind of share like you need a shower. Yeah. It was it was it was hard. Let's say a break here. Our conversation continues after the news on seven hundred into lower take a break. Then the news and continue having a conversation on seven twenty WGN."
