Listen: New York, US And Lake Ontario discussed on First Morning News
"R race stage. He of the Weather Channel. And let's a quiet out there. It's thirty seven degrees, which is probably something like normal. I don't know. And I don't think it's going to snow. Thirty-seven close to normal for low temperature should be thirty five. It's not gonna snow all the snow's been out the snow belt, western New York state twenty plus inches downwind of Lake Ontario. So that's where it's supposed to be this time of year as the lake effect snow machine gets going. We are influenced more by high pressure than anything else over the next. Let's say five to seven days phone debare. Yep. Low pressure is going to go well, south of us. So it'll be a big storm that produced a one point nine one inches of rain yesterday in Los Angeles record for the date. They have problems with flooding and water rescues an aircraft sliding off runway crafts ways in all kinds of stuff. Now is that storm rolls south and east. Heavy rain through Texas, the southern US and maybe heavy snow into the mountains of North Carolina. And maybe even further on off into the east of the Piedmont. So there will be impacts of winter weather, but high pressure is going to keep that storm system suppressed to our south. So we have a lot of what you see is what you get chilly below average the average high temperature forty six forget about that. We're not going to see that over the next seven days. And the average laws you said is thirty-five, and we are going to be down below that starting tomorrow morning and probably for quite a few mornings here. So below average temperatures dry weather the rule, lots of clear sky with just a few clouds today, and we should do thirty seven tonight a little colder twenty four suburbs will be down into the teens. And then the clouds on the increase tomorrow. We should go about thirty-five Sunday few clouds, and we'll get into the upper thirties. And it does look like the dry and sunny weather is going to continue Monday Tuesday Wednesday into next week. High temperatures are only going to be in the mid to upper thirty s maybe forty degrees slows down into the twenties with teens some nights out in the suburbs. So all in all it's pretty tranquil. I don't I don't care about the coal. I really don't care. I mean, just keep the snow away. So we can all travel around with relative ease. So you know, a couple of weeks ago like three weeks ago? Now, we had that snowstorm that's six enter paralyzed New York for various reasons, and I thought oh here it comes is going to be a snowy horrible winter. Is there any correlation between that sort of event, and what can pass not at all good? Yup. The next storm will watch for is probably late in the week next week or next weekend. That'd be the next opportunity for measurable precipitation. Well, I hope it misses us. And I know you're sorta why. Era snow machine guys you like snow do mystery to me. Okay. Grace data from the Weather Channel. Thanks very much for the tranquil forecast. This report brought to you by Exegen temporal scanner thermometer, cold and flu season is around the corner."
