Listen: Ashley Frasca, Natalie Dale And Reporter discussed on Mark Arum
"So there's a road in my neighborhood. I'll talk to you alanon because you can relate to this. There's there's like a little neighborhood next to my neighborhood, and it's kind of a popular cut through people drive through there. So but a month ago, they're all of a sudden there were these road closure signs like going in and out of the navy neighborhood. Who was like road close road closure ahead, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, wow. I wonder what's going on there. It's you know, that's a that's a big road closure. But I I respected it and didn't drive down to see what exactly was going on. And then a month for a month. It's been up there. And I see you know, what I'm a traffic reporter, I've got the authority to drive through there and see what's going on. So I drive through their past the road closure signs like it's they don't block the whole road. It's like one big sign is blocking the right lane. Whatever road closed no through. Traffic traffic report, I can see what's going on and son of a gun. There's no road closure. Like the homeowners association went out and bought road closure signs because they were sick of people cutting through their neighborhood. And they just put them up on either end of their of the street to prevent people from work because I didn't cut through for a month. Now wanted to ask Natalie Dale, that's legal or not. Did you hear this story? Ashley Frasca coming here. So I I'm I'm I'm conflicted with what I should do right now. I'm not going to name the neighborhood. I'm not gonna call him out on the air. So for a month. Frasca, there's been this road closure. Sign next to my neighborhood. Like look official looking sign road closed. No, no Ornstein. Yeah. Whatever it's a big side. So for a month this popular cut through near my neighborhood has been closed, and I'm like, wow. Whatever's going on there is taking a long time. So as a traffic reporter, I need to go and see why this road is closed the roads closed. The homeowners got sick of people cutting through their thing their neighborhood. And I think they just bought their own signs and put them up. I would think there's some illegality there. Sure. So I I wanted to bring up a Natalie Dale, we need Jim stricklin. That's an Irish Belcher strictly get on this. I'm not gonna I know people are gonna say what neighbor I'm not gonna call the neighborhood yet yet. Well, I wonder if that's lingering animosity that they have from the eighty-five bridge collapsed to eighty. I haven't gone this. This is a family. It's nice homes, and they put those, you know, those five foot high speed humps in there that apparently didn't do enough for them. So they're gonna fake road close something key preventing. And you said it kept you from a month. Yeah. And I believe the size of that road's closed, and it's it's really impact me with ubereats drivers. Because now I see on the map they've been they've been following the so here's here's my moral dilemma. Eight who I call him out and let the folks know that this is wrong or Beato. I let it slide. And the also part of me is like, well, that's kind of brilliant. Yeah. But you don't lend. Emergency vehicles that need to get through. That's a good point. Uber eats. I mean, that's emergency to that. Is I need my matzo ball soup. All right. So the voice of reason to actually."
