Officer who kneeled on George Floyd’s back faces sentencing


The former police officer who kneeled on George Floyd's back as another officer Penn Floyd's neck faces sentencing today in Minnesota state court in Minneapolis. Jenny Alexander king pleaded guilty in October to aiding and abetting second degree manslaughter, a day before jury selection was to begin in his trial, Floyd died May 25th, 2020, when former officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on Floyd's neck for 9 and a half minutes, video recorded by a bystander showed Floyd golem, king kneeled on Floyd's back during the restraint. He has agreed to a state sentence of three and a half years in prison to be served at the same time as a federal sentence. I'm Donna water
