Chinese Canadian pop star Chris whoo has been sentenced to 13 years in prison in China on charges including rape. Wu was given 11 years and 6 months for a 2020 rape. He was given a further one year in ten months for the crime of assembling a crowd to engage in sexual promiscuity. It occurred at a 2018 event in which he and others allegedly assaulted two women they had gotten drunk. The June trial of the 32 year old former member of the South Korean group exo was close to the public to protect the victim's privacy, whoo, grew up in Guangzhou in China and in Vancouver British Columbia.
