Cold Medicine (MM #3954)
The NASA minute. With Kevin mason. I spend a lot of time on social media and a bit on TikTok for a few years now. Now, if you go find me at Kevin mason on TikTok, you won't see me posting anything, because nobody wants to see this Batman dance. And while TikTok is fun for the youngsters, it's the latest place for the youngsters to hang out. There's a lot of strange things going on with TikTok that is problematic. One of the latest trends, cooking chicken in cold medicine, where people take chicken breasts and then dump NyQuil all over it and then cook it. Sleepy chicken NyQuil chicken call it what you want. Doctors call it dangerous. And I don't know why people want to do this in the first place. Some people do what I think to start off as a joke, but then some people take the challenge and don't realize when it's a joke. Sure, you can do the ice bucket challenge and that's not harmful to people necessarily. But then you can just do things that are stupid. And these challenges get more and more bizarre as everybody tries to one up another person. Doctors are saying this is dangerous. This could cause death, but it doesn't stop kids from trying and having fun and trying to be silly and stupid and will get attention. They just want to be a part of the crowd. That's scary.
