On Capitol Hill as senators took a key procedural vote. That started the countdown to a final vote tomorrow on the supreme court nomination of Brett Cavanaugh. There were four undecided. Senators and one of them Maine Republican Susan Collins took to the Senate floor for almost an hour this afternoon defending Kavanagh's judicial record and saying she had to stand with the presumption of innocence. Presented do not mean that her professor Ford was not sexually assaulted bad night or at some other time, but they do lead me to conclude that the allegations fail to me. They more likely than not standard. Therefore, I do not believe that these charges can fairly per bed. Alaska, Republican Lisa Murkowski voted no in the procedural vote and suggests she will do the same tomorrow, but with Collins flake and mansion there appear to be enough votes to confirm
