Attorney General Bill Barr authorizes investigation into voting irregularities
Department to probe election fraud claims if they exist. The Justice Department is preparing to get involved in the 2020 presidential election. Attorney General William Barr has authorized federal prosecutors across the nation to pursue substantial allegations of voting irregularities if they exist. The Associated Press has obtained a memo from bar to U. S attorneys in which he writes, investigations may be conducted if there are clear and apparently credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual state states have until December 8th to resolve election disputes. Members of the Electoral College meet December 14th to finalize the outcome. Mike ROSSIA.
