Opportunity knocked and William Byron kicked the door down, taking advantage of a late race kerfuffle between leader Ross Chastain and Kyle Larson as they battled over the same real estate on the track and both crashed, bringing out the caution. Baron surged ahead on the restart, driving away from Kevin Harvick to win the NASCAR Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway.
