Listen: Sean Mcveigh, Football And NFL discussed on The 312
"Something that all coaches should know. Right. So I I also said this I followed it up with this person. I was chatting with who is defending people that believe it's impressive. I said here's another way to look at it any any fancy football player worth a darn Randall you and I are participating in a fantasy football league here at the at the station this season. Any fancy football player worth a darn can pretty much name, you the depth chart at all of the skill positions on all thirty two teams in the NFL. That's a lot of names and not only can you name. The you could probably give generic comments about their strengths and weaknesses of press. Is this is this a receiver who is big on yards after the catch are they a vertical threat? You know, are they speedster? Are they go up and grab a guy? Are they a third down converter? And then the same thing for running back. So the same thing for Titus. So if just a fantasy football player who's in it for maybe a few bucks in a pool or like, some dumb novelty trophy can name all of those things about all those players in the league, then you would expect a head coach in the NFL to be able to do roughly the same. I mean, come on. Really? It's not that complicated. It's not that impressive. I'm I'm you're not impressed. I'm more impressed by what he does on the field. Right. Name the all the all the president's. I wouldn't care. It was all depends on what happens between those chalk lines. Yeah. And I'm not trying to downgrade anything Sean McVeigh has accomplished the fact that he is a head coach of a very good winning team. They won the NFC last year as far as their regular season record. They they won the NFC west again this year. And the guy is like, I think he's basically my age he might be a little bit older than me. But he's basically my age that's impressive. But don't gush over just for the sake of clicks on social media while I can't believe his head coach named all eleven players on his opponents defense."
