Listen: Lebron James, Lakers And Kobe discussed on First Things First
"T F stock x now, you know. Moving onto LeBron James is Lakers have won ten of the last thirteen. But LeBron is doing a lot of that work on his own and former Lakers greats Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant has said the team might be over using the king. Lebron was asked about this. And here's what he had to say. I don't know what asked me to do. Much by my game understand the logic behind it understand magic in Kobe Sam because we want to continue to grow the young guys that we want to see how you know how much are you guys can grow MB the best. They can I mean. Magic and Kobe. No, why am I know why they know what they don't get out of me that is you know, what you don't get out of me every day gonna play wherever game, and I'm gonna shoot the ball whaler. No. But you know, when it's time to really really really money time, you know, who is going to be. So you know, we got guys who just want to continue to develop a guy that. Get better and better just from experience. If they'd have had a lot of experience, I think that's people are trying to blow it out of proportion. Like, okay, why did you? If you don't wanna use them guys. They don't understand the logic behind it. But. It doesn't matter. Like, you guys asked me the other day. Like, do you feel better after playing thirty minutes compared if you played forty minutes? No, I work myself all year round in tiptop shape all year, Ronald stop. So I can do whatever. I mean. Play the game seven and a final played every minute of his. Lashed roughly every single game every single game. Kinda slice. You wanted. Understand. We're magic in Kobe sand, and we have to continue to develop these guy because if we don't then long-term what does that do for a franchise? Got a lot there from LeBron James nice to hear what what do you think about what LeBron had to say? Nick, it's a very very difficult, balancing, which is is the best thing for the Lakers for the young guys to learn how to play with LeBron when he is playing the way he will play in money time in the playoffs which is ball dominant running the offense or is the best way for the Lakers. And those young players to develop is to learn how to play either in those moments in the postseason when the bronze on the bench when needs to rest on offense when he's on the court and to have some of that money time go through them at the beginning of the season. They were going with the ladder, and they were struggling greatly since then they've gone with the former they've won ten of thirteen. They've all of a sudden climbed to fifth in the west. And the only reason you wouldn't go with LeBron. Do it all LeBron is if you are worried he's going to wear down, and that has been a legitimate concern forever. Player I've ever seen except for it seems this guy. And so I know that they've got him for four years not a one in one. And so they are thinking about not just this year, but next year and the year after and they know this year's team see is not equipped to win a championship. So you would think okay. We'll let's get the young guys experience. You know, what the most important experience for the young guys is playoff experience in how you're going to get to the playoffs is having LeBron do what he's been doing the last dozen games. So it's a balancing act that I think right now this latter part of the season they have handled the right way. This is about a couple of different things. The number one LeBron's never been to the place that had the history of the Lakers. So he even when he was with Pat Riley, and they had to Wayne way, Dwayne way was not a made man, then even though he had won the championship in Pat Riley. He just doesn't speak about the team the way magic in Kobe.."
