Homeland Security: Loudoun County to Receive 2,000 Refugees per Month


I have some breaking news for you poor loudon county Virginia This is from sheriff Mike Chapman of loudoun county who is a terrific sheriff despite how crazy the board of supervisors and school board is On February 4 2022 the loudon county sheriff's office received an unannounced visit from the Department of Homeland securities protective service And it learned there and then that approximately 2000 Afghan refugees per month were slated to arrive at the Washington dulles international airport During a window beginning as early as February 19 that's tomorrow And extending to September 2022 The regional personnel advised the refugees would be transported by bus to the national conference center in loud county where they would stay until their ultimate relocation elsewhere in the United States Now the national conference center I didn't know that was federal property But now 2000 a month are going to stay in this facility until it's determined where they're going to be relocated to
