Sally left a rain soaked path


Making landfall on Wednesday. The storm decimated homes and boats and created dangerous flooding situations for some coastal residents who had to be rescued by emergency crews. Later, Sally left a rain soaked path and flooding on its way to Alabama's capital city, Montgomery and the surrounding areas. Large parts of Alabama were without power in the storm's wake. And many schools and colleges will remain close to in person learning through Thursday. Forecasters say that Eastern Alabama and Western Georgia are Sally's next destinations as the slow moving storm advances over the region. For NPR News. I'm Kyle Gass it in Montgomery,
