Google parent agrees to $310M misconduct lawsuit settlement


Parent company announced the settlement of a sexual misconduct lawsuit. Lisa Taylor reports, officials with Alphabet Inc say they're implementing policy changes in establishing a $310 million fund. The fund will be used to address issues of diversity, inclusion and equity that employees and shareholders say are lacking at the company plaintiffs in the lawsuit. We're shareholders, whose complaint centered on the generous severance package is granted to executives accused of sexual misconduct. Alphabet has agreed to a number of reforms, including being Or open about misconduct allegations and investigations.
