A week long training program started on Tuesday for St Petersburg police chief Anthony Holloway and several officers on how to use body cameras the camera looks like a cell phone it's worn in a pocket in the front of the uniforms when an officer pulls his weapon or taser the camera begins recording with a predetermined pre roll this is not going to stop all the issues that were having all the also the weren't a body camera so the trust is going to happen right away the community that already trust and believe in us they're already support there is happy that we're going to this four officers including the chief will wear them for the next several weeks after the pilot period chief Holloway will make a recommendation to city council on whether to proceed with that particular camera
