Of fires burning around the site of one of the worst nuclear accident in history here's fox's Paul Stevens a forest fire still burning in the evacuated area around the abandoned Chernobyl nuclear power plant in northern Ukraine that blaze burning at least a two hundred fifty acres with increased radiation levels at the fire center inside a nearly one thousand square mile Chernobyl exclusion zone that zone set up after the nineteen eighty six disaster at the plant that sent a cloud of radioactive fallout over much of Europe that zone largely unpopulated although about two hundred people have stayed there despite numerous orders
