Colorado Gov. Jared Polis Renews Calls for Congress to Pass Marijuana Banking Reforms


Governor Polos wants Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and other top Democrats in the Senate to take up a bill that would allow banks to service the marijuana industry. In a letter to the senator's polls, also urges members of Congress to look at Colorado's success in establishing a well regulated marijuana marketplace. He says it could serve as a model for federal legalization of pot. Just last year legal cannabis generated $387 million in tax revenues for Colorado.
