I told you this before leg. Right from the beginning when I started this show I pursued it like it's a job. That's what I did. I I work sixty hours a week. I come home, I will go up my office. I'll be working with show Even if I didn't have a direct plan as to what I was going to do that night. I still came upstairs, sat in front of computer and star pushing buttons. And so at fate found something to do with the show like it's just putting yourself in that environment to be creative. You're not going to find your creative juices If you're not actually putting yourself in a situation to be creative and it will actually her Joe Rogin say that recently. He said, um, when they're writing their jokes and everything like it doesn't just come to them. Like sometimes it does. But he said lot of times you have to forge yourself to go sit down and just start writing. And you you the right through all the P S in order to find five lines that are good And slake Lobule think that you know Joe Rogin and people like that or even ice like we can just sit down with just boom it you have to you have to work at this Kraft in order to make it better. I mean, not everybody. Michael Jordan was just natural, you know? Yeah. I'll tell you about time Abed Joe Rogin to in Vegas you Mitchell wrote him. Yeah, too, rarely guy seriously before I get to that, uh, you know, the You're right in in that's the way you need to look at it with podcasting because. And that's why you have a quality showman. You know, It took me years to ramp up to a half-way decent show. It didn't just happen And blend I think you're curve as far as creating a quality show you you're learning curve it either low as almost no learning curve. I mean, you had the sound quality down. He had the creativity gown. You had the insurers down the Uraltransgaz down. Andy, I think you're a veteran interviewer than I am while Islamic a circle jerk, but I think you're a veteran item. I am in its new, have all these qualities, man, And I'm telling you, the confessionals is gonna it already has taken off, But I I think you're going to see every year you look back and you're like, Wow, I really compost. I, you know, I'm all known almost four hundred shows, but it's realistically it's probably more like four hundred forty. Uh, an half of the shows are terrible to have salute, terrible man. Um, but yeah, I mean, just keep it up. You did a good job in its I mean, there's very few podcasts, a consent. Listen to a just told you about the one I sat listen to an IRA. Listen to them probably once every month or two. And they did okay java just They don't have the audio quality. They spend too much time be as saying, there's no content. There's seconds. Maybe they don't do a good job. But Kim to get it, can they get an air be for effort? A gimmick D forever? Oh jeez, while there is, there's a problem fam that up to a be in your good. Yeah, but I mean, who cares what I think you know, but I mean there's a lot of shows like that to righteous. Can't listen to him. And then there's other quality shows they you listen to and you're like, Wow, That guy's really get in on top of it. This is enjoy an enjoyable experience to listen to the show. Now, think of the oath that mindset you can really create something via. Yeah, I I just I don't know, I I approached things in a very, uh, I guess Matter of fact realistic way. Like if something's not good, I'm probably the first one pointing it out They I just for me, I mean, they Kosovars my stuff Like I I just I won't be real, You know? And uh, in order to do that, you've got to be truthful with yourself. Uh, we owe. And then So that's what I do. I mean, I appreciate that. Man, I I didn't expect to hear you say Let's say that, but it means a lot him. It's. It's a processing the I can't tell you like there's been times over the last year because I mean, I see the show growing, But you know, I I always say that that, you know, I told you this way back like And I mean this, Um, the guy. Um, look, I I I work with the macro vision, but with micro efforts like I work every day like tomorrow, like six success is going to happen tomorrow. But I know it's not going to happen tomorrow. So I had this long-term vision in play. And sometimes I I look at like the stats on blog talk and you can see the grad, You know what I'm talking about the graphic condos, your show going up And there's maybe like two or three months. I think it was during the summertime Lake June-July August where it's just kinda like, really plateauing. And like I was like, is this where it's going to wrap up at, you know? And I, you know, I I um, I I honestly thought that maybe it was gonna be a one your show. I really did at that point out. I think it will maybe I can squeak out a year is stuff male die off. And that's okay because I told you before, I mean, I'm fine with whatever I mean, if I'm a truck driver next thirty is my life and podcasting is as good as it gets kind of thing. I'm good with that. It I it's not a bad life that I have right now. You know. So I think he has the right mindset. I hear a lot of these guys getting into They want to create member should sides. And they want to make money and they wanna do the if you're in it just for the money, you'll never cut. You'll never make it. If if your mindset is I'm in this to make a BOK You'll never make it because you have to add the passion. You have to have that effort and work on creating something really cool eventually the money will com. But if you're mindset is nothing more than the money, that's what your ultimate goal is. You'll never cutting edge a than to man for the amount of abuse of taken on the big for world money. It worth it. People are delusional if they think the money's worth it. They in I I can go work some Raulston and not be abused. Like I'd been abused here. I I don't want to sound like a your victim of a you know, I n N nationally. You know, make a decent living and not have to put up with everyone's nonsense. And so it's a big disappointment at if you're in it just to make money. Because at the money up in a days' worth it. Noon on him. Absolutely, I totally get it. It's the grass is always green on the other side Samsonov already. And you find out It's not get there. You find out It's not. But yeah, man, it's uh. It's crazy, I dunno I gotta take my son to uh. Uh. His guitar Listen, uh, coming up that number had out Cool. I'll tell you the Joe Reagan's for real quick. The Joe Oregon story is I met him, It was very brief. This was when he was do I think he was due in fear factor? I think this is even before the UFC. Um, and he was drunk Joe Rowe in is actually a pretty small guy. A really. Yeah, he's actually a really small guy. He's only like he shorter than what he I think the guys only like five heat. An but he's not a real big guy who is a kind of a quiet guy. He generally say much ice age drunk. But I mean not like migration of said trunk. I can tell you and had a few drinks, But you is actually a really quite guy news. Actually, a really nice guy though when I met him And I ended up calling him a a cap. The asked me to call Mechat And it was in when I was in Vegas, But, uh, I'm sure Joe organ could again, mop the floor with me with all his fighting skills by He's not a big guy and he, you know, he's kind of a quagmire was kind of surprised by that. His yearly Psalm unfair factoring a rare is not your factor of you or whatever used to say. And uh, but anyway, that suggestion and story said on hand drinks or anything while I love his show because I mean the KYW just a he can talk about anything. It's unbelievable. Its ugliest get job. Yeah, he does a really good Chuck. I almost Saint Joe Riggins better than Howard Stern. I've gone. It's starting today. You not Howard Stern 1990 I mean, Howard Stern today. I think Joe ribbons better than Howard Stern Howard Sharon's lost his majority Inc. but he's an old man now. I mean gone, what has had Howard's almost seventy? Has any pies gotta be I mean, he was what news late 40s early 50s in the nineties. Side, You know, I I think that uh, but he is a grandfather radio man. You can't take that away from him throat. He's absolutely the Godfather radio, So. Um, yeah, man, I got take off though, or dude, I'll talk to you later.
