Listen: Daniel Bryan, WWE, Sam Roberts discussed on Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast
"I feel like as a fan we haven't been given time to process and maybe I'm just too big of a Daniel Bryan fan, but I feel like there was it was traumatic losing Daniel Bryan and the idea that he's back is something that I'm like. I don't even know if I'm ready for it yet. It seems like one of those things where you would want to announce it like three months before it's actually going to happen and build up and build up and build up. But the fact is WWE did it the right way in the sense that wrestlemainia is whenever it was a week or two from the announcement, the Daniel Bryan could go again and guess what? If he can go again, he should be a wrestlemainia and if he wasn't, I think all of us would be ask. Why wouldn't you just have them at wrestlemainia so. You know, I think it's tremendously unique. The story of Daniel Bryan in the sense that he retired, the we weren't all told, let's wait and see what happens. We were all as fans told Daniel. Bryan was certainly done. You're not gonna seem WWE anymore. Museums injuries are too much so to see him come back out of nowhere. But I guess what the doctor's cleared me, you go white and he's competing right away is kind of an amazing thing. So as difficulty as I've had processing the fact that this is actually happening, I wanted to talk to him about how he's processed it. Maybe he saw it coming. Maybe he was able to wrap his head around it before, but I just can't imagine if it worked as quickly for him as it did for us. How does a guy that was dealing with that? I mean, giving him depression, you saw it on the total divas reality show. If you watch it, I'm total Bellas whatever reality show us dealing with depression who dealing with this depression on one of these shows. You saw how affected he was by not competing in WWE. So when he gets to life changing news, hey, you're coming back. Was it as sudden for him as it was for all of us, that was one of the things that I really wanted to get into as well as many, many other things. He's a really, I mean, when you talk to this guy, I mean, I was gonna say, when you talk to Daniel Bryan, you're getting the real Daniel Bryan. But I feel like when you sit down and talk to Daniel Bryan, you're getting the real Bryan Danielson like he, he, he, he doesn't really put it on for interviews at least for the ones that we have. So you know, I just I find him very, very interesting. He gives you the real answers from his perspective, and he's living a pretty honest life. So I was super happy when two k. made the offer, and I took them up on it. Ladies and gentlemen, my guest on Sam Roberts wrestling podcast. This week is none other than the man himself Daniel Bryan and now the Sam Roberts wrestling. Podcast interviews. Welcome back to Sam Roberts wrestling podcast, not Sam wrestling, the whole deal. Daniel Bryan, it's been. It's really interesting. I feel like every time we talk, I mean, I guess with you for some reason in the last several years, every time there's a chance to talk to you. You're on like some big life milestone or something huge and dramatic is in the process of happening or whatever it is. Last time we talked, we were going down like percentages of chances that you would be back wrestling that you'd be back in WWE that you'd be back in somewhere else like you had this whole mathematics scheme planned out, and then it kind of seemed like leading up to wrestlemainia. You got the news that you'd be back and then went right back in a bit of a world. Wind is that kind of out happened. Yeah, yeah. So I found out so I hid done this media tour did a the Bahrae Comecon. The first comic con rain are the on a Friday I went and did the special picks up. I'll be Dhabi on a baby. It was on a Saturday, and then it was a Special Olympics Dhabi on Sunday and then flew from there to Dallas, Texas.."
