Listen: North Carolina, Ray Stagich And Raleigh discussed on First Morning News
"Suburbs into the mountains, maybe freezing rain, but it doesn't look like a crippling event there, but maybe five eight inches of snow in Charlotte. Maybe couple of inches. Raleigh fell. More back toward Asheville, ashville could get a foot snowfall. So the Slough resorts. Yes, there are ski resorts in North Carolina. Could get significant snowfall. Yeah. Some people you say their ski resorts, North Carolina. Well, you got their altitude there, they do there's elevation and the nights in the wintertime are Chilean you don't necessarily have to be below freezing to make snow and they make snow too. So if you didn't know that take that to the water cooler with you today. Okay. Yeah. Thirties mid upper thirties today over the weekend. Mid upper thirty s and nothing more, but plenty of sunshine and a little cloud coming in tomorrow, then partly cloudy on Sunday. So the temperatures are fairly uniform thirty five to about thirty nine degrees. The overnight lows will be in the mid to upper twenties. And then as the next week we've got sunshine for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we stayed to the mid to upper thirties. If we do have another storm to worry about it looks like we're averaging about once a week here as I said, this one is going to go south but this weekend but maybe late next weekend late next week into next weekend. We may have a storm that we're gonna have to deal with. Well, not looking forward to that. Ray in the short term at any rate over the next few days. It's going to be very nice. We thank you for that. Good news this morning Ray Stagich from the Weather Channel time is now five thirty."
