Listen: Connecticut, George And Lincoln Tunnel discussed on WCBS Programming
"Traffic and weather together every ten minutes on the aids over to Matt McClure all the situation in queens, getting better, actually, Cheryl, we have now cleared that earlier vehicle fire and all the cleanup surrounding it. This was the eastbound side of the L I E on the ramp to these bound Grand Central there. Couple lanes were blocked that clean up. They are no more in the residual delays working themselves out. So that is good news. Still a little bit of a slowdown though. But looking better on the westbound side of the Grand Central as you head into the gardens interchange. And then the northbound side of van Wyk in that same spot at the q interchange things are looking better there, but we're still seeing a few brake lights. So everything is not completely taking care of looks like your Hudson river crossings are actually doing pretty good the upper level doing better than the lower at the inbound side of the George Washington Bridge a little bit of construction on the album approach to the George so you've got to watch out for that. And just allow yourself a couple of extra minutes there. The Lincoln tunnel flowing along fine. Despite the closure of the center tube for the overnight work a Holland tunnel. No delays either direction we do on some delays though on ninety five. This is the southbound side of the New England throughway where we got some construction just after the Connecticut state line. So it's really affecting your right on the southbound Connecticut turnpike, you're really heavy there on the southbound side back to about exit to now our next traffic update coming up in less than ten minutes and WCBS."
