'We the People' is the White House's theme for the holidays


The White House is kicking off the holiday season with a theme aimed at reminding Americans of what unites them throughout the year. First Lady Jill Biden's theme is we the people saying that is always been the nation's soul. She is unveiling The White House's winter decorations, which include a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the massive gingerbread house with a sugar cookie replica of independence hall. There are some 83,000 twinkling lights, 77 Christmas trees, and 25 wreaths hanging outside the executive mansion, about 50,000 visitors are expected at The White House over the holidays, including French president Emmanuel Macron, who will be honored Thursday at the Biden administration's first state dinner, Sagar Meghani, Washington.
