David Harsanyi, Texas, Attorney discussed on The Larry O'Connor Show

To church uh there's a great article over at the federalist right now saying that yeah it's a good idea to bring your guns to church why not i mean i've been most people think of a church as sort of a uh done presold right uh a lot of people would think of a church as a place where if you wanted to wreak havoc you could go just like a school we are just like a movie theater you can go and not really see much of a of resistance because they think churchgoers well you know they're just there to pray it'd be peaceful and so i can wreak havoc a no one's going to stop me so do you buy into this do you agree with this article in the federalist that i'm citing this specifically the headline is why bringing a gun to church is a pretty good idea and it's written by david harsanyi whose head on as a guess before and uh you can paxton attorney general texas has basically said dum dum he said i'll quote him here the only thing i i know because you can necessarily keep guns out of the hands of people who are going to violate the law in texas at least we have the opportunity to have concealed carry and so if it's a place where somebody has the ability to carry is always the opportunity that a gunman will be taken out before he has the opportunity to kill very many people that just seems logical but in many people's minds there's a incongruity between a going to church for worship for an expression of your faith for all of the reasons that one goes to church and carrying a instrument of death and by the way just because it's of instrument of death i don't think it's a bad thing because that death can be very righteous death so what do you say do you bring constitute are you thinking of bringing your comes to church let me know what triple eight thirty wmal before it get to your calls i just want to.
