Davo, Clemson, Dan Mullen discussed on The Paul Finebaum Show

There's a lot of rumors going around davo possibly the time for him moving on from Clemson. Let me jump in here for a second and I don't know whether I sincerely doubt that if there is a change that a coordinator will come in there. Brand ventilators has been very good. Both at Oklahoma and Clemson. I think with Florida has to determine though is do they have faith in Dan Mullen to correct a program that he in terms of deficiencies? He helped create. He brought in Todd grantham. That was his guy. He could have had anybody wanted. And he brought Todd with him from Mississippi state. So this is his program. He owns it. And I always like when coaches talk about, you know, I'm going to sit down after the season and we're going to evaluate. That's what you're always doing that. And I think he's had a very precarious moment in time where if I'm sitting over there and Scott Strickland seat at the university president and others because I don't think this is going to be everyone wants to say this is Scott struck one's decision. I think it's bigger than that right now. This thing has gotten a little bit out of control very quickly. You have to look at Dan Mullen, you have to listen to his plan and you have to believe. He said last week he was making a change. He put a young person in a position to call the police defensively. It was a disaster. So that was the first decision he's made. Let's hear what his plan is for the future. And it needs to be convincing, because there's a lack of confidence right now. For many, many people, people that played their people that love that university and I think damn moments are capable coach. But he is in a very difficult position right now and the most important thing he has to do is win these next two games because if he does not the bleeding will intensify. Let's take a break. More to come. Greg mcelroy, on the other side. You are listening to the Paul finebaum show podcast. And.
