US official claims pressure to downplay intelligence reports


An official at the Department of Homeland Security says he was demoted from his post at the Office of Intelligence and Analysis as punishment for not altering intelligence reports. In a whistle blower complaint, Brian Murphy alleges superiors pressured him to stop providing reports on Russian interference in U. S elections and to downplay the threat of white supremacy.
