I found from DC slightly different since I primarily read, comics from independence as of late, but this one caught my eye, and I liked what I saw and read the story takes place in the late forties, fifties and very early sixties of the DC universe, the art and the heroes costumes reflect that style. But they have a certain charm about them. And like I said earlier, I can't quite put my finger on it. Why that art style and writing style seems to be very attractive? However, the story flows. Well, and you get to see all the classic DC characters that, you know in love, I wouldn't say I'm DC expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I recognized all the main characters in the story and knew the origins, they were describing the other side characters that they were talking about, even if you're a novice DC fan, you will, like this book, you can pick up the trade paperback and read the entire story in one big volume.
