Former Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Thad Cochran has died

Takes a look back at the life of Senator Thad Cochran in Mississippi Republican, who served in congress for more than forty five years passed away this morning, Cochran who served as the chairman of the Senate appropriations committee, had resigned from the US Senate in April of two thousand eighteen citing health concerns. His death was confirmed by the office of Senator Cindy Hyde Smith who succeeded Cochran in the Senate that Cochran was eighty one.
