Listen: Jon Stewart, Bill And John Stewart discussed on John Hancock
"So Jon Stewart shows up on Capitol Hill to fight for the nine eleven victims compensation fund, and he shows up in a congress and nobody's there. Most of the congressman had skipped out on the opportunity to hear him. And, and he got he got mad, and he got a fish, you got angry and got emotional, and whether or not the emotion was real or staged I have no idea. But nonetheless, he may have had a pretty good impact because house panel yesterday unanimously passed this Bill to fund the nine eleven victims compensation fund and quite frankly, they should. So we have John Stewart was the impetus to make that happen. Well, then I guess, more power to him, the Bill approves additional money to keep the victim's compensation fund operating through twenty ninety and the Bill goes, not only victims families, but also to first responders who suffer from respiratory illnesses tied to the nine eleven site."
