It's been it's been it's been a long road and you know it's it's almost two and a half years since i was released just returned to work at the washington post in january i'm finishing up the book now it'll be out next year but it's been it's been a good process for me to kind of put together what happened and also process and to people other people who've been through similar situations remarkable experience jason thank you so much for being here thank you next year new york times columnist nick kristoff he says we in the news media have an addiction to trump do you agree executive producer jordan peele choice he morgan is back in a new tv at the new york times gritty funny comedy in prison starring tiffany haddish the inner tainer just go wait to you you got got another man bouncy house don't miss tracy organs return to tv second chances off beautiful thing but last oji tuesday's ten thirty nine thirty central only tvs the news media addicted to trump news is it time for an intervention joining me now nick kristof an oped columnists for the new york times great to see when person here with you i trump addict i think i'm willing to admit that i think all roads lead to trump right now but you pointed on a recent column that can be a problem how so so i mean let me express my own addiction as well my my wife and i we find ourselves our pillow talk about trump but terrible but i do think that we have to acknowledge that there is so much more happening in the world then donald trump and we in the media are essentially all trump all the time and frankly is a little rude to say this but i think cable television is particularly to cable tv and the upshot is that we risk not covering a lot of really important things at home and around the world and we complain that president trump is is parochial isn't paying attention to important things around the world and we're absolutely right but that can also be said about.
