Donald Trump, Lisa Gladden, Tim Scott discussed on Larry Elder

Was present at the Morgan State University of Maryland gubernatorial debate in 2002, where Oreo cookies were present and used as a means of ridiculing then candidate for Lieutenant governor, Michael Steele. When I walked towards the auditorium where the debate was held, I saw a young girl approaching me holding some Oreo cookies. She attended to hand me some. When I asked her what they were for, she said there, Michael Steele cookies. I did see an Oriole fly through the air in the direction of Mr Steele during the event. But I did not see it hit him. The cookies were just part of a wide ranging intimidation campaign. While the throne Oreo cookies may not have been Thick in the air like locus. They were nevertheless, throne. Quote the term Oreo and the symbolism of the cookies meant to imply that a black person is really by black person. Really, What a black person really wants is to be a Caucasian and is otherwise a shame. But here the her race End of quote. By the way, Michael Steele's Mom was born into a sharecropping family in South Carolina. She dropped out of school to work in tobacco fields. She was a teenager. Well, he was a teenager. She and her Mom moved it D C, where she got a job at the Laundromat worked there for 45 years. She married an abuse of philandering alcoholic. Michael Steele was born in 1958. His mom was urged to accept welfare when his dad died, but she wouldn't do it. Years later. Steele said he asked his mother why and she said quote. I didn't want the government raising my Children. Steel was admitted to Johns Hopkins. Rays were substandard. He was invited not to return his mom urging to go back. Got a second chance. Graduated. Mayday! Passing out Oreo cookies. First black man to win statewide election in Maryland. Passing out Oreo cookies during this campaign. An operative for the Democratic Party in Maryland. We're okay with it. One staffer. For a Democratic candidate, said quote. There is a difference between pointing out the obvious and calling somebody names. A black Baltimore state senator named Lisa Gladden. Said. You don't I don't expect the party to pull punches. It's a perfectly legitimate issue. Quote party trumps race. If you're bold enough to run, you have to take whatever the voters are gonna give you. The democracy. Perhaps it is worse, but it's a democracy in the clothes that she defended people passing out Oreo cookies, calling him an Oriole calling an uncle Tom. After all, it's a perfectly legitimate issue. And the big lie. The massive lie being promoted, of course. Is that America is a systemically racist country. And after the election of Barack Obama after his re election. Percentage of Americans saying they would never vote for a black person. The president all time low, Maxine Waters says. Every day we have seen this nation become more racist. Is America, not a racist country. Well, you know, I don't know if he was counseled to say that or whether he really believes that there wasn't a question. The question is, is America I racist country and notice that Maxine Waters says Well, I don't know if he would say, turns its subject to what Tim Scott said. If you let him get away with believes that then he has missed not only the history of the country, but what? Let's start this over again. Is America, not a racist country? Well, you know, I don't know if he was counsel. She wasn't asking about him. She's asking you to say that or whether you really believe this is part of the con. See, some people sincerely believe this. You think Maxine Waters really believes this in her $4 million house in Hancock Park? We're less than 3% of black that he really, really really believes that America is bedeviled with systemic racism, which is why she want to live around a bunch of white people. You think she really believes that So she knows is the con She's been caught. She asked her point blank. Do you believe it? And rather than lie, she changed the topic to him. Is America, not a racist country. Well, you know, I don't know if he was counseled to say that or whether he really believes that if he really believes that, then he has missed Not only the history of the country, but what is going on right now, as we watched the invasion of the capital, or that was an insurrection. Now it's an invasion. January six, and maybe next time it'll be a bombing those people following Trump, saying they were taking back their government. So in other words, America is systemically racist because of what happened on January six. Until then, America was not systemically racist. Why do you bring that up? That's exhibit a I got a headache. I'm gonna crush up in an ambulance snorted. I'm Larry Elder. When all hope is lost Joe God just for a special mission. When the golf championship of the world entire very funny, the impossible becomes possible. Maybe it's God challenging people to do more than they ever thought possible to get the work.
