Listen: Apple, Mark, Iowa discussed on The Talk Show
"I just have not find found that many cases where it's worth the effort to make it happen do use command tab. On the ipad a heavily. Yeah. But right now, I'm I've got right now on talking about using expert on keyboard. Yeah. Using like us with the ipad. It's the. Apple got this thing had this for years right now sitting on my desk. I've watched k seven sixty it's not by any stretch. I have many many of these bluetooth keyboards. This is the one I just happen to keep it work because it's not as loud as my dos. And it's got the dingus week hit the different bluetooth keys to move between devices. I just I feel like people would their minds would be blown if they realize on the one hand how much stuff you can do with the keyboard like a full feature. Keyboard not just the folio one a full feature keyboard on an ipad in particular. And as always with these things, then what you end up discovering how much you more. You wish it could do, but it is very very powerful. There are apps like so sometime opened up drafts. A recent copy of drafts and hit the show me show me available keys. What does that? No command a question, Mark. Or whatever it will. He has multiple pages as you can do with the keyboard interests. You have to go to pages to see all the stuff. You can do they ask you a question. Yes. I use that a lot by and large especially with the smaller one I mostly use it in my hands right now. I have the big boys sitting in front of me on its. But I don't you think. It's I think it's weird that when your command tabbing in the ipad that when you have two apps multitasking together side by side in the command tab interface. They're sort of married together. It's I don't know why it just show you how often I do this. I'm going to go recreate what you're talking about right now. It's just a weird thing like an so if you've got like safari on the left, and and like, you said notes on the right because you're taking notes about a thing that you're reading, and it's helpful to have them side by side. But if you just wanna keep safari where it is on the left, and then replaced the thing on the right with if you're focused in the right one. If you're of course, is in the right one and you switch you think that should change out. I don't know. I don't know what they should do. I just seems to me like they should rethink the whole thing. And I know that there were rumors of a major ipad interface update for Iowa's twelve that got shelved last year on the grounds of let's just focus on reliability in making making the whole, you know, let's let's punt punt for a year on these UI changes. And just make what we have worked better, you know, and hats off to apple you know, they were. Oh, yes. Yes. I I love those years. I love the slurs. Well. You know, I remember when I was twelve ship a month or two ago and people like a couple of reviewers like put it on an older iphone and indeed it was faster. You know? It's like Clinton me my daughter's success, right real real speedy. Yeah. So it's and that was great that what they said they were going to do and they did it. But I can't help it. Hope I seriously hope that they have really big ideas for the ipad interface in terms of multitasking and stuff like that. I because I just feel like the way things stand right now. It's I don't know it just it still seems to me like the the native way to do everything is just, you know, go to the home screen tap and icon, have it filled. This green go back to the home screen. Well, and so let me just throw this back at you one more time why is that that's because you probably had some kind of smartphone in the fat past. But definitely you fell in love with the iphone. Right. And using the iphone is how you started. I never had a smartphone before that. I never at. All you always had a feature found. Yeah. Like ten dollars. But once you the point being once you got on, and I thought you never looked back. And so that's like even to this day.."
