Listen: Philip Rivers, Minnesota Vikings, Larry Fitzgerald discussed on Fantasy Focus Football
"That's just not a part of his game. Three and a half point favorites are the. Minnesota vikings. I got the Vikings to cover this one something's afoot with agree with the Packers right now. Just not just not there this year. Who got I will take the Vikings. Well, I will tell you. What's not there? They're not a good football team. They're they're they're actually I believe I mean, they're probably a bottom ten team without Aaron Rodgers. Right. I mean like last year. I mean, that's the the brilliance of Rogers is what keeps that team afloat? And of course, Aaron Jones my my love Aaron Jones, but it'd be you know, what they don't they're kings. They don't have a ton there. I am taking the Vikings. And as long as there's this weird impasse between Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers I think it's going to continue to be a problem for the Packers. It's a good point right there Daniel cardinals and chargers in this game for the cardinals. You are starting David Johnson. And I think you're probably still starting Larry FitzGerald. He's got over forty receiving yards twice this season. But he had the two touchdowns last week. He's a flex play for us as you've got the deductions, but he got on four targets onto catches. Yeah. To touches four targets. And the chargers actually, really good against the slot fifth fewest completions yards in completion percentage against in the NFL. And so is not a great match up your banking on the talent of Larry FitzGerald. And you're hoping for volume because we haven't seen the volume it's been inconsistent. The kind of looks that he's been getting. Here's what you're starting for the chargers. Melvin Gordon and Keenan Allen too, bad men. They have been unbelievable. How about Philip rivers to find? He's got multiple touchdown passes in every game this season. He does. And he has a very high Flora's part of the reason I like it more than seventeen points in eight out of ten games. So, you know, you're going to you know, Philip rivers is gonna throw the ball. You just sometimes have to take a little bit of the good with the bad because I going to throw it to the wrong team. But he is averaging a career high nine point zero eight yards per tempt. That's good enough to be fourth-highest in the NFL as long as Chandler Jones isn't live inside of his eardrum on on Sunday afternoon. I'm good with that as well. Philip rivers has been super consistent this year. My only concern my only concern is just what's the volume. Right. I mean. He's to your point about gonna turn it over to running. Yeah. I think I think Josh Rosen struggles against this. Now, Joey Bosa lead chargers defense. I think you're gonna get good field position. I think it's a big Melvin Gordon game. I just don't see him having to sling. You know, get into some sort of shootout with Josh Rosen here he has two touchdown passes in pretty much every single game this year, but he hasn't thrown three since week four. So it's one of those things that I agree with you. There's a very high floor. But I think is upside is limited given the way I think this game plays out chargers or twelve and a half point favorites here. It's a big number charter still though to bounce back after really humiliating loss. Sometimes after those big losses they wanna win in dominant fashion. So I'm gonna take Philip rivers. Charters have a big day to go Jaya's, go go Chandra's, go rid of that. He got the chargers. All right there you go tight and Texans. It's game. Of course. A Monday night football ESPN.."
